China Mobile – Introduction
China Mobile is the biggest mobile telecom provider in China with more than 763.3 million customers. The client growth rate is about 4 million per month. It is expected that by the end of this year, the company will have more than 182 million customers solely within the 3G service area.
These figures are set to increase rapidly in 2014 as Apple has reached an agreement with China Mobile regarding the introduction of the iPhone in China. Such a contract could bring China Mobile about 60 to 80 million new 3G customers within the next 2 years.
