Clariant – Introduction
Clariant has in the past few years undergone a number of restructuring processes, the results of which have not yet been recognized by the market. Foremost, the restructuring should position the company to achieve higher operating margins and higher growth prospects in sectors such as energy and minerals, catalysts and chemical additives. Finally, in the event Clariant’s new structure proves successful, it could become a takeover target because it has a number of attractive assets in its portfolio.
