Switzerland-based Nestle focuses on the food and beverage sub-industry within the consumer staples sector. It boasts an annual dividend yielding around 2.7% as of this writing. Among its more than 2,000 brands worldwide are not only its namesake chocolate products but also Kit Kat, Gerber, San Pellegrino, Perrier, Purina, Cheerios, Coffee mate, Dreyers, Lean Cuisine, Nesquik, Toll House, and even a perpetual global license to sell Starbucks-branded consumer packaged goods and food service products (outside of Starbucks’ coffeehouse locations).
