NTT is the largest fixed-line telecom provider in Japan. NTT is structured as a holding company which maintains a large portfolio of group companies e.g. NTT East, NTT West and NTT Communications (NTT Com).
NTT holds a 100% stake in each of these.NTT also has a major stake of 63% in NTT DoCoMo; this share accounts for 50% of DoCoMo’s sales revenues and 80% of overall revenues.
