The credit ratings for the senior holdings of MS, GS, JPM and Bank of New York Mellon were lowered one notch by Moody’s last week. At the same time, Moody’s also confirmed the senior holdings ratings of BAC, C, State Street, and WFC.
The market’s non-reaction to this announcement clearly shows that the ratings agencies still lag behind the rest of the market.
